完全沒有供過於求的問題，而且過高的油價，對美國經濟發展復甦非常不利，不僅讓可支配所得減少而且消費力減少，也就是說引起通膨，中間偏低的油價，最適合於美國的與世界的復甦與經濟發展，美國是一個以消費為主的含蓋70%GDP，過高的油價是要讓美國消費力減少了壞處大於出口石油好處，不僅引起通膨而且讓美國的可支配所得的消費力減弱
