Wall Street Memes lists three of the Nasdaq 100's worst-performing stocks, each of which may be undervalued, according to Wall Street experts.
\n
Nasdaq 100 Large Cap Growth is considered by many to be a solid investment choice. This group is composed of all large-cap companies (market capitalizations above $10 billion) – big, stable businesses like these tend to offer more predictable cash flow and, at times, more resilience to volatility.
\n
In search of good deals, Wall Street Memes looked at some of the Nasdaq 100 stocks that have performed the worst over the past 52 weeks. Could negative momentum give way to bargain hunting and turn some of these stocks into winners within the foreseeable future?
\n
Below are three potential buy-the-dip ideas backed by Wall Street experts.
\n
3# Activision Blizzard - $ATVI
\n
The Santa Monica-based video game company Activision Blizzard develops and publishes interactive entertainment content and services worldwide. Some of the most famous games the company has produced include Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, the Diablo series, and Guitar Hero. But the company has been struggling all this year. ATVI stock, which is down 34% year-to-date, is one of the biggest Nasdaq 100 losers in 2021.
\n
Figure 1: Activision Blizzard's gamming event.
\n
Activision Blizzard currently sports a $44 billion market cap and has solid fundamentals; impressively, the company has beat earnings estimates every quarter since 2018. However, in the past quarter, even though it reported both earnings and revenue beats, light guidance for the upcoming year caused the stock to crater. Since November 2, shares are down 23%.
\n
In addition, throughout this year, the company has faced internal employee issues, with many workers pointing to repeated instances of discrimination and harassment. Activision's low morale ended up causing somedelaysin key game releases.
\n
Despite a troubled 2021, and despite several post-earnings downgrades this last quarter, Wall Street is still overall bullish on ATVI stock. Consensus for ATVI is a “moderate buy” with an average price target of $90 – that implies a strong, 52% upside ahead.
\n
Truist Financial analyst Matthew Thornton expects a CEO change amid recent developments. Thornton believes that Bobby Kotick, the current CEO, keeping his post would only maintain the uncertainty around the company’s morale and productivity. However, he is still bullish on the company’s fundamentals and reiterates a buy recommendation on the stock and a price target of $74 —representing a 24% upside.
\n
2# Peloton Interactive - $PTON
\n
This company, which provides interactive fitness products and subscriptions, was a pandemic darling last year; 2021 has been a different story, however, and the stock has been struggling while economies have gradually reopened.Peloton stock is down 72% year-to-date, sitting at about $40 as of our last check.
\n
Figure 2: Peloton when Nasdaq listed.
\n
Despite the poor momentum, Wall Street believes that this could be a good time to invest in Peloton stock. The $13 billion market cap company has a “moderate buy” consensus and a $78 price target, which implies a 70% upside. Those figures are based on 26 reports issued over the last three months.
\n
The most recent Wall Street rating provided came from Deutsche Bank analyst Chris Woronka. He initiated coverage on PTON with a $76 price target and a “buy” recommendation. He justified this rating with a straightforward analysis of Peloton’s earnings potential in a normalized (i.e., non-pandemic) economic environment.
\n
Lastly, famed investor Cathie Wood purchased a sizable batch of PTON stock in late August of this year. Wood’s Ark fund bought the dip as the company missed Q4 earnings estimates, scooping up 1.7 million shares of PTON. However, as PTON stock kept dipping, Wood’s Ark fund ended up dumping almost half of its shares a few months later, right before PTON ended up plummeting 40% after fiscal first-quarter earnings revealed poor guidance ahead.
\n
1# MercadoLibre - $MELI
\n
Buenos Aires-based MercadoLibre is an e-commerce marketplace and fintech provider (the latter via MercadoPago, an online payment platform) that serves much of Latin and South America. MELI is also one of the Nasdaq 100’s worst performers of the year. The company – along with the rest of the e-commerce sector - was a big beneficiary of pandemic “stay-at-home” trends. MELI shares jumped an eye watering 312% between March 2020 and February 2021.
\n
Figure 3: MercadoLibre debut on Nasdaq
\n
The Argentine company, which has a market capitalization of $57 billion, increased its revenues by up to triple digits during the apex of the pandemic, but those results may have worked to set the bar too high for the company. Last quarter, the company missed revenue estimates for the first time since 2018. Plus, there was news that MercadoLibre would be selling 1 million shares for general corporate purposes.Higher interest rates hurting growth stocks in general also helped to bring down MELI’s shares, which have tanked 32% since early November.
\n
Even with all the bearishness surrounding MELI’s recent performance, the Wall Street consensus on the stock is bullish, predicting an 80% rally ahead. The stock currently has a “strong buy” rating and a target price of $2,187 based on 8 analyses, most of which were providedafterthe company's fiscal third-quarter earnings.
\n
One of those bulls is Barclays analyst Trevor Young, who raised MELI's price target from $2,100 to $2,200, reiterating his recommendation to buy the stock after its third-quarter results. The analyst is optimistic about MercadoLibre’s “execution on all fronts,” especially in terms of value proposition and services.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Experts Say These 3 Nasdaq Stocks Are Seriously Undervalued
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nExperts Say These 3 Nasdaq Stocks Are Seriously Undervalued\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-12-14 14:22 GMT+8 TheStreet\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Looking for good deals on large-cap stocks? But the truth is that there are ample undervalued opportunities even in this hot segment.
\n
Let's look at three such hidden gems in the electric vehicle space.
\n
\n
Valuation of EV stocks
\n
Trying to understand the valuations of EV stocks has become challenging lately. Not all EV stocks are getting valued the same way. As an example, consider Nio. The company sold 66,395 vehicles in the first nine months of 2021. Yet, its market capitalization is less than that of Lucid Group and Rivian, both of which have sold far fewer vehicles so far.
\n
NIO Market Cap data by YCharts
\n
With not much of a sales history, the price-to-sales ratios of Lucid and Rivian stocks are not meaningful. Although Nio's price-to-sales ratio of nearly 10 looks high, it pales when compared to Tesla's ratio of around 24.
\n
NIO PS Ratio data by YCharts
\n
For sure, Tesla commands a higher ratio for being the EV pioneer, with a strong brand image and innovative offerings. However, the premium compared to Nio looks outsized.
\n
Talking more about differences in EV valuations, pure-play EV manufacturers -- that offer only EVs -- typically get valued higher compared to legacy automakers, which are now entering in the EV segment. This is likely based either on hype, or on the opinion that pure-play EV makers can offer better EVs than legacy automakers. Neither of the two seems like a valid reason to avoid legacy automakers with solid EV ambitions.
\n
Two such companies are BYD and Volkswagen. As the above graph shows, the stocks of both these companies trade at a much lower price-to-sales ratio than that of Tesla or even Nio. Whichever way you slice or dice it, Nio, BYD, and Volkswagen stocks look better valued than most of their EV peers.
\n
1. There is a lot to like about Nio
\n
Investors will find Nio attractive for more than one reason. To begin with, the company operates in a leading and fast-growing market. Of the 2.6 million EVs sold globally in the first half of 2021, roughly 1.1 million were sold in China alone. Furthermore, in the first half of 2021, the number of EVs sold in China was equal to that sold in the country in all of 2020.
\n
Nio reported strong vehicle deliveries for November. Except for October, when the company reported lower deliveries due to planned upgrading of its manufacturing lines, Nio's deliveries are largely on an upward trend.
\n
The company faces stiff competition from local players, including BYD,Xpeng, and Li Auto, as well as global EV companies including Tesla. Nio is doing well so far despite the competition. Moreover, it is planning to start deliveries of its new luxury sedan, the ET7, early next year. The new sedan has some of the best features and technology available and should further boost Nio's growth.
\n
2. BYD is gaining ground silently
\n
While investors are focused on upcoming EV stocks, established Chinese automaker BYD has made a place for itself in the EV segment. According toCleanTechnica, BYD controls the highest share, 17%, of China's EV market, including plug-in hybrids. That's higher than the 16% market share controlled by a joint venture between SAIC Motor,General Motors, and Liuzhou Wuling Motors. By comparison, Tesla holds roughly 11% share of China's EV market.
\n
In November, sales of BYD's EV models grew 153% year over year to 46,137 units. Including plug-in hybrids, the company sold 90,121 units in the month.
\n
With a trailing-12-months revenue of $30.2 billion, BYD operates in three main segments. In 2020, the company earned 53% of its revenue from auto and related products, 39% from mobile handset components and assembly, and the remaining 8% from rechargeable batteries and solar products. Geographically, the company derived 61% of its revenue from China.
\n
With a high focus on EVs, these will likely form an increasingly higher portion of BYD's revenue mix in the coming years.
\n
3. Volkswagen has big EV ambitions
\n
EV investors would surely find value in top automaker Volkswagen. In the next few years, the company plans to invest 35 billion euros in electric mobility. It aims to increase its EV deliveries to 20% of its sales by 2025. By 2030, the company targets 60% of its sales in Europe to be EVs.
\n
In the first nine months, Volkswagen delivered nearly 7 million vehicles globally. Of these, roughly 293,000 were fully electric. An additional 246,000 were plug-in hybrid vehicles. So, electric or hybrid vehicles accounted for around 7.8% of the company's deliveries. For perspective, Tesla delivered 627,572 vehicles in the first nine months of this year. So, even though EVs form a small percentage of Volkswagen's total vehicle deliveries, its absolute EV deliveries are huge and will continue to grow. But the truth is that there are ample undervalued opportunities even in this hot segment.\nLet's look at three such hidden gems in the electric vehicle space.\nImage source: Getty Images.\nValuation of EV stocks\nTrying to understand the valuations of EV stocks has become challenging lately. Not all EV stocks are getting valued the same way. As an example, consider Nio. The company sold 66,395 vehicles in the first nine months of 2021. Yet, its market capitalization is less than that of Lucid Group and Rivian, both of which have sold far fewer vehicles so far.\nNIO Market Cap data by YCharts\nWith not much of a sales history, the price-to-sales ratios of Lucid and Rivian stocks are not meaningful. Although Nio's price-to-sales ratio of nearly 10 looks high, it pales when compared to Tesla's ratio of around 24.\nNIO PS Ratio data by YCharts\nFor sure, Tesla commands a higher ratio for being the EV pioneer, with a strong brand image and innovative offerings. However, the premium compared to Nio looks outsized.\nTalking more about differences in EV valuations, pure-play EV manufacturers -- that offer only EVs -- typically get valued higher compared to legacy automakers, which are now entering in the EV segment. This is likely based either on hype, or on the opinion that pure-play EV makers can offer better EVs than legacy automakers. Neither of the two seems like a valid reason to avoid legacy automakers with solid EV ambitions.\nTwo such companies are BYD and Volkswagen. As the above graph shows, the stocks of both these companies trade at a much lower price-to-sales ratio than that of Tesla or even Nio. Whichever way you slice or dice it, Nio, BYD, and Volkswagen stocks look better valued than most of their EV peers.\n1. There is a lot to like about Nio\nInvestors will find Nio attractive for more than one reason. To begin with, the company operates in a leading and fast-growing market. Of the 2.6 million EVs sold globally in the first half of 2021, roughly 1.1 million were sold in China alone. Furthermore, in the first half of 2021, the number of EVs sold in China was equal to that sold in the country in all of 2020.\nNio reported strong vehicle deliveries for November. Except for October, when the company reported lower deliveries due to planned upgrading of its manufacturing lines, Nio's deliveries are largely on an upward trend.\nThe company faces stiff competition from local players, including BYD,Xpeng, and Li Auto, as well as global EV companies including Tesla. Nio is doing well so far despite the competition. Moreover, it is planning to start deliveries of its new luxury sedan, the ET7, early next year. The new sedan has some of the best features and technology available and should further boost Nio's growth.\n2. BYD is gaining ground silently\nWhile investors are focused on upcoming EV stocks, established Chinese automaker BYD has made a place for itself in the EV segment. Volkswagen has big EV ambitions\nEV investors would surely find value in top automaker Volkswagen. In the next few years, the company plans to invest 35 billion euros in electric mobility. It aims to increase its EV deliveries to 20% of its sales by 2025. By 2030, the company targets 60% of its sales in Europe to be EVs.\nIn the first nine months, Volkswagen delivered nearly 7 million vehicles globally. Of these, roughly 293,000 were fully electric. (MRK) last month to buy1.7 million doses its 'molnupiravir' treatmentof \"mild-to-moderate Covid in adults who are at risk for progressing to severe forms of disease, or hospitalization.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1389,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":871409353,"gmtCreate":1637102732110,"gmtModify":1637102732388,"author":{"id":"4087686543844860","authorId":"4087686543844860","name":"Maybl","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8528a3b3e7bad2aa55b4c86ab0e2cedc","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087686543844860","authorIdStr":"4087686543844860"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👌 ","listText":"👌 ","text":"👌","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/871409353","repostId":"1112207087","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":369,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":873535899,"gmtCreate":1636958755014,"gmtModify":1636958755095,"author":{"id":"4087686543844860","authorId":"4087686543844860","name":"Maybl","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8528a3b3e7bad2aa55b4c86ab0e2cedc","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087686543844860","authorIdStr":"4087686543844860"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👌","listText":"👌","text":"👌","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/873535899","repostId":"1175922019","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1175922019","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1636957589,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1175922019?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-11-15 14:26","market":"us","language":"en","title":"It's not just Elon Musk: Here's who else at Tesla has been selling the stock","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1175922019","media":"CNN Business","summary":"New York (CNN Business)Just days before his brother started selling billions of dollars worth of Tes","content":"
New York (CNN Business)Just days before his brother started selling billions of dollars worth of Tesla shares, Kimbal Musk, a Tesla board member, sold $108 million worth of his own stock in the company.
\n
The dollar value of his sale is dwarfed by his brother Elon's sale of $5.7 billion worth of Tesla stock from Monday through Thursday this week. But it represented a much larger percentage of his holdings in Tesla (TSLA) -- about 15% of Kimbal's stake in the company. Elon's stake has declined by only 3% so far through his sales through Thursday.
\n
Although Elon Musk's sales were the first time he sold any Tesla stock since 2016, Kimbal Musk has been selling his own shares on a regular basis. So have many other top executives and board members at the world's most valuable automaker.
\n
Robyn Denholm, the company's chair, has been selling regularly shares since she got the job overseeing the board in late 2018. In the last two years, each time she exercised options she received as part of her compensation, she immediately sold all the shares she had just acquired.
\n
Zachary Kirkhorn,Tesla's so-called Master of Coin, who used to have the more standard title of chief financial officer, has also been selling shares regularly.
\n
Leaving money on the table
\n
All three are probably the poorer for doing so. Tesla shares had an incredible run these last two years, rising nearly 2,000% since the company surprised investors with a profitable third quarter in 2019. in July.
\n
That’s because portfolio window-dressing at the end of June will have made that month’s poor performers fall even further than they would have otherwise. It’s likely that once this artificial selling pressure disappears, these stocks will bounce back.
\n
To be sure, window dressing is a powerful force on several occasions throughout the calendar, not just at this time of year. It should have the biggest impact at the end of December, since more investors look at their portfolio holdings in early January than in any other month of the year. Fund managers therefore go out of their way to sell their losers prior to Dec. 31 in order to avoid the embarrassment of having to report that they had ever owned them.
\n
Just the opposite is the case for stocks that managers buy for window dressing. These are the stocks that already have been performing well and which managers want to show in their end-of-quarter holdings report. Their cosmetic buying will cause these stocks to perform even better — which, in turn, results in them falling back to earth once the new quarter comes around.
\n
As expected, January is the month in which the previous month’s worst performers fare best relative to the previous month’s best performers — a pattern known as the “short term reversal effect.” This is illustrated in the chart below, which reflects monthly data back to 1926. July is the second-most powerful month for this pattern. That also makes sense because, after January, July is the next most common time for investors to read through their brokerage statements.
\n

\n
Also as expected, end-of-quarter window dressing is less of a factor at the end of the first- and third quarters. In fact, as you can see from the chart, the short-term reversal effect is even less dominant in April than in non-quarter-end months.
\n
How to play the short-term reversal in July
\n
As is often the case, an exchange-traded fund has been created to exploit the short-term reversal effect. Vesper US Large Cap Short-Term Reversal Strategy ETFUTRN,“seeks to capitalize on the tendency for stocks that have experienced sharp recent sell-offs to experience near-term rebounds.”
\n
Because the fund was only recently created, in September 2018, the ETF’s average monthly returns since then are only suggestive of the long-term pattern. I started with the 50 stocks in the S&P 1500 index with the worst June returns, and then eliminated ones not currently recommended by any of the top-performing newsletters monitored by my newsletter-performance-tracking service.
\n
The 15 stocks listed below survived this winnowing process. change.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":100,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":157741214,"gmtCreate":1625617191938,"gmtModify":1633939094769,"author":{"id":"4087686543844860","authorId":"4087686543844860","name":"Maybl","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8528a3b3e7bad2aa55b4c86ab0e2cedc","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087686543844860","authorIdStr":"4087686543844860"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Sad","listText":"Sad","text":"Sad","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/157741214","repostId":"1106187901","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":519,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":857819336,"gmtCreate":1635517269337,"gmtModify":1635517269421,"author":{"id":"4087686543844860","authorId":"4087686543844860","name":"Maybl","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8528a3b3e7bad2aa55b4c86ab0e2cedc","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087686543844860","authorIdStr":"4087686543844860"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👍","listText":"👍","text":"👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/857819336","repostId":"1147653984","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1147653984","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing It reports again later this month.
\n
AMC would have to double from here to revisit its June highs. Check the upcoming theatrical release slate to know why movie theaters are about to get a whole lot better.
\n
Upstart is revolutionizing the way creditworthiness is determined in consumer loans, and it's laughing all the way to the bank.
\n
\n

\n
It's been a volatile year for stocks, but naturally some investments have fared better than others. Over 300 stocks have more than doubled in 2021. Many of those winning investments will be lucky if they can hold those gains through the final three months of the year, but what about the names that have the potential to double again?
\n
Crocs (NASDAQ:CROX),AMC Entertainment(NYSE:AMC), andUpstart (NASDAQ:UPST)have more than doubled in value through the first nine months of 2021. Let's see why they have what it takes to possibly repeat the feat in the fourth quarter.
\n
1. Crocs
\n
Remember those bright rubbery shoes with holes in them? They're back in a big way. Crocs sales are booming since the pandemic began, and the stock is following suit with a 129% increase through the first nine months of 2021.
\n
The comfortable resin shoes were already making a comeback before the COVID-19 crisis with double-digit revenue growth in 2019 before repeating the feat in 2020. Momentum is what's really taking Crocs to a higher level in 2021.
\n
The year began with the footwear maker projecting 20%-to-25% top-line growth for the entire year back in February. Guidance was bumped higher -- to between 40% and 50% growth -- the following quarter. It happened again this summer, with Crocs now targeting a 60%-to-65% surge in revenue for all of 2021. What do you think will happen if those targets get pushed even higher when it reports third-quarter results later this month?
\n
Despite a stock that has popped nearly sixfold since the start of 2019, Crocs is reasonably priced given its accelerating growth. It's trading at 21 times this year's earnings and just 17 times next year's target. There's clearly room to increase those multiples, and Wall Street's finally as comfortable with Crocs as an investment as its customers are in its shoes.
\n
2. AMC Entertainment
\n
You may be surprised to find the country's leading multiplex operator on this list, but plot twists are what make movies so good. It's certainly true that AMC Entertainment has appreciated -- in terms of both stock price and a fivefold explosion in shares outstanding -- to the point where its valuation is out of whack relative to its peers'. If you want a pure investing play on the movie theater industry's recovery, you will find more attractively priced stocks toscratchthatitch.
\n
However, as ameme stockand cultural phenomenon it's hard to argue against what AMC has done to translate its popularity among retail investors into a legitimate market share grab in the recovery process. No company has seen its market cap inflate as much as AMC has this year, but this is also a stock that enters the fourth quarter with a stock price that is a little more than half of what it was when it peaked in June. In short, it would have to double from here to revisit its all-time high -- but isn't that always possible with the poster child for 2021 momentum stocks?
\n
Fundamentally speaking, the catalysts are also there.Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsshattered box office records over Labor Day weekend, but the initial excitement fizzled out when subsequent weekends were abysmal. However, it's all about the pipeline. Studios pushed out September releases into October and beyond when the delta variant resulted in a spike in COVID-19 cases. We're now seeing the highly anticipated films start to come back, starting with the new James Bond movie next weekend. The fourth quarter should be a lot stronger for the industry than the naysayers think, and if AMC stock gets back to where it was in early June -- fundamentally earned this time -- it will have to double from here.
\n
3. Upstart
\n
I love when industries ripe for disruption get upended, and that's what Upstart is doing with the lending industry. Upstart usesartificial intelligenceand machine learning to make better calls on assessing risk profiles and creditworthiness for folks who don't typically get approved for consumer loans.
\n
Growth is bonkers. Revenue seemed to be decelerating sharply, with slowing growth spurts of 89%, 52%, and 27% in the last three years respectively. Now that consumers are becoming aware of Upstart as a better alternative to payday loans and other predatory lending products, business is skyrocketing. Revenue rose 90% in the first quarter, only to surge 1,018% in its latest report. And no, that's not a typo.
\n
With Upstart now expanding into the auto loans market, the potential for its better alternative to stodgy credit scores is just getting started. The stock has been a seven-bagger through the first three quarters of 2021, but the runway is long for this disruptive jet.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
3 Stocks That Can Double Again in the Fourth Quarter
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n3 Stocks That Can Double Again in the Fourth Quarter\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-10-02 13:35 GMT+8 The motley fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Key Points\n\nCrocs has jacked up its guidance every quarter this year. Over 300 stocks have more than doubled in 2021. Many of those winning investments will be lucky if they can hold those gains through the final three months of the year, but what about the names that have the potential to double again?\nCrocs (NASDAQ:CROX),AMC Entertainment(NYSE:AMC), andUpstart (NASDAQ:UPST)have more than doubled in value through the first nine months of 2021. Let's see why they have what it takes to possibly repeat the feat in the fourth quarter.\n1. Crocs\nRemember those bright rubbery shoes with holes in them? They're back in a big way. Crocs sales are booming since the pandemic began, and the stock is following suit with a 129% increase through the first nine months of 2021.\nThe comfortable resin shoes were already making a comeback before the COVID-19 crisis with double-digit revenue growth in 2019 before repeating the feat in 2020. Momentum is what's really taking Crocs to a higher level in 2021.\nThe year began with the footwear maker projecting 20%-to-25% top-line growth for the entire year back in February. Guidance was bumped higher -- to between 40% and 50% growth -- the following quarter. It happened again this summer, with Crocs now targeting a 60%-to-65% surge in revenue for all of 2021. What do you think will happen if those targets get pushed even higher when it reports third-quarter results later this month?\nDespite a stock that has popped nearly sixfold since the start of 2019, Crocs is reasonably priced given its accelerating growth. It's trading at 21 times this year's earnings and just 17 times next year's target. There's clearly room to increase those multiples, and Wall Street's finally as comfortable with Crocs as an investment as its customers are in its shoes.\n2. AMC Entertainment\nYou may be surprised to find the country's leading multiplex operator on this list, but plot twists are what make movies so good. It's certainly true that AMC Entertainment has appreciated -- in terms of both stock price and a fivefold explosion in shares outstanding -- to the point where its valuation is out of whack relative to its peers'. If you want a pure investing play on the movie theater industry's recovery, you will find more attractively priced stocks toscratchthatitch.\nHowever, as ameme stockand cultural phenomenon it's hard to argue against what AMC has done to translate its popularity among retail investors into a legitimate market share grab in the recovery process. No company has seen its market cap inflate as much as AMC has this year, but this is also a stock that enters the fourth quarter with a stock price that is a little more than half of what it was when it peaked in June. In short, it would have to double from here to revisit its all-time high -- but isn't that always possible with the poster child for 2021 momentum stocks?\nFundamentally speaking, the catalysts are also there.Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsshattered box office records over Labor Day weekend, but the initial excitement fizzled out when subsequent weekends were abysmal. However, it's all about the pipeline. Studios pushed out September releases into October and beyond when the delta variant resulted in a spike in COVID-19 cases. We're now seeing the highly anticipated films start to come back, starting with the new James Bond movie next weekend. The fourth quarter should be a lot stronger for the industry than the naysayers think, and if AMC stock gets back to where it was in early June -- fundamentally earned this time -- it will have to double from here.\n3. Upstart\nI love when industries ripe for disruption get upended, and that's what Upstart is doing with the lending industry. Upstart usesartificial intelligenceand machine learning to make better calls on assessing risk profiles and creditworthiness for folks who don't typically get approved for consumer loans.\nGrowth is bonkers. And no, that's not a typo.\nWith Upstart now expanding into the auto loans market, the potential for its better alternative to stodgy credit scores is just getting started. The stock has been a seven-bagger through the first three quarters of 2021, but the runway is long for this disruptive jet.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":252,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":816124162,"gmtCreate":1630480510056,"gmtModify":1631891821832,"author":{"id":"4087686543844860","authorId":"4087686543844860","name":"Maybl","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8528a3b3e7bad2aa55b4c86ab0e2cedc","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087686543844860","authorIdStr":"4087686543844860"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good","listText":"Good","text":"Good","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/816124162","repostId":"1125867359","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":207,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":177422812,"gmtCreate":1627258501636,"gmtModify":1633766861224,"author":{"id":"4087686543844860","authorId":"4087686543844860","name":"Maybl","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8528a3b3e7bad2aa55b4c86ab0e2cedc","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087686543844860","authorIdStr":"4087686543844860"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👍","listText":"👍","text":"👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/177422812","repostId":"1100772026","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":241,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":144488486,"gmtCreate":1626310259245,"gmtModify":1633928032027,"author":{"id":"4087686543844860","authorId":"4087686543844860","name":"Maybl","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8528a3b3e7bad2aa55b4c86ab0e2cedc","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4087686543844860","authorIdStr":"4087686543844860"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy","listText":"Buy","text":"Buy","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/144488486","repostId":"1150057304","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1150057304","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1626308096,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1150057304?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-07-15 08:14","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why NIO Stock Is Down Wednesday","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1150057304","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Investors are still skittish after last week's actions against DiDi Global.Shares of Chinese electric-vehicle maker NIO were trading lower on Wednesday.
