It realizes that to compete with existing titans like Tesla, it needs to have something they don't. Its answer: Lucid has packaged together a high-performance, long-range, fast-charging luxury sedan. It's a unique design that doesn't look like a traditional sports car or an executive luxury sedan. Ultimately, investors should go with the EV stock they think has the best chance to succeed. ChargePoint relies on companies and organizations that want to offer EV charging for their employees and customers. TPI spent the last few years expanding its global manufacturing capacity and building new research centers. It has since struggled to book that added capacity as well as renew contracts on its existing production lines. In sum, TPI is set up nicely for a return to growth in the wind energy space. For investors that believe in the future of wind energy, TPI could be a turnaround play to consider.
\n
Different growth choices
\n
Lucid, ChargePoint, and TPI Composites each offer a different way to invest in the energy transition. Lucid is the riskiest of the bunch, as it's a bet on growth in both the EV industry and in demand for Lucid's vehicles. ChargePoint is a simpler choice that depends on public and residential demand for EV charging. ChargePoint is a simpler choice that depends on public and residential demand for EV charging. TPI Composites expects low growth in 2022 and needs to improve its cash position to weather the expected slowdown in revenue. If it can overcome these challenges, it could rise with the long-term growth in wind-energy installations.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1199,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":606943344,"gmtCreate":1638829186998,"gmtModify":1638829211374,"author":{"id":"3575511822003150","authorId":"3575511822003150","name":"CT131605","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e7dc91053dde2a04c818db545bbb9ae7","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575511822003150","authorIdStr":"3575511822003150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Up","listText":"Up","text":"Up","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/606943344","repostId":"1189410190","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1189410190","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing Not yet, anyway. As of this writing, the S&P 500 is just 2.5% off its recent high, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq is down by less than 5%, and neither are close to the 10% decline that typically defines a market correction.
\n
Having said that, many investors certainly feel like we're in a correction. Some of the most popular growth stocks in the market are down by double-digit percentages, and many are down by 30%, 50%, or more. I know that I've checked my portfolio recently and have felt like I'm in my own personal bear market.
\n
With that in mind, while nobody enjoys watching their stocks decline, situations like this can create excellent opportunities for patient long-term investors. Here are two growth stocks in particular that look like outstanding bargains and are worth considering.
\n
A disruptor with a massive opportunity
\n
Insurancedisruptor Lemonade has steadily declined throughout 2021 and took another dive after its third-quarter earnings report and the announcement that it plans to acquire Metromile. As of Dec. 1, Lemonade is a staggering 75% below its January 2021 all-time high.
\n
By focusing on younger consumers and offering an easy and efficient way of buying insurance and processing claims, Lemonade has scaled its business to about 1.4 million customers in a fraction of the time it took some of the biggest players in the game to do so. With its auto insurance product just starting to roll out, Lemonade has a massive $300 billion addressable market in the U.S. alone, and a big head start when it comes to current customers to cross-sell it to. As co-CEO Daniel Schreiber recently told me in an interview on our Industry Focus podcast, he believes Lemonade's business could grow to 100 times its current size over time, and I agree. I've been a Lemonade shareholder since shortly after its IPO, and as I recently wrote, I plan to double down on my investment if the current share price holds.
\n
Don't let a rival's problems scare you away
\n
A few weeks ago,Zillow shocked the real estate world by pulling the plug on its iBuying business, and investors were understandably concerned that other iBuyers might be in trouble as well. Leading iBuyer Opendoor Technologies took a dive and is now nearly 60% off its highs.
\n
However, Opendoor's business is doing just fine. Its unit economics have been far superior to those of Zillow, and its business is growing rapidly. The company bought 15,181 homes in the third quarter, which is as many as the entire industry bought in the second quarter. And its gross profit margin of 8.9% is impressive and gives the company a nice path to future profitability.
\n
Finally, don't think of Zillow's exit as a negative. That's a mistake. Instead, think of it this way -- Opendoor is in a new and massive industry that had just four serious players, and the one that represented the biggest competitive threat just bowed out of the race.
\n
Expect a roller-coaster ride
\n
One important thing to keep in mind is that all three of these might look like bargains from a long-term perspective, but I have absolutely no idea what they'll do over the coming weeks, months, or even the next year. All three are likely to be volatile for the foreseeable future as their growth stories play out. Operating profit, however, declined sequentially from the second quarter to the third quarter partly because spending on R&D ramped higher.\n“In the third quarter, we continued record-setting growth with the highest vehicle deliveries among China’s startup new energy vehicle automakers,” said CEO He Xiaopeng in the company’s news release. XPeng delivered almost 26,000 cars in the third quarter.NIO (NIO) delivered about 24,000 and Li Auto (LI) delivered about 25,000.\n“This outperformance testifies to the market’s recognition of the differentiated value our vertically integrated in-house developed software and hardware bring to our vehicles.”\nLooking ahead, XPeng expects to deliver between 34,500 and 36,500 in the fourth quarter. That implies about 12,000 vehicle deliveries each month in November and December. The company delivered about 10,100 vehicles in October. More than 12,000 vehicles would be a monthly record for XPeng.\nRising deliveries is a sign that the global semiconductor shortage that has roiled auto production all year isn’t hurting XPeng all that much. That’s good news. Xiaoping had another bit of unexpected good news for shareholders: robotaxis.\n“The solid progress we’ve made in [our navigation guided pilot] fuels greater confidence in our ability to explore Streak","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1190184675","media":"Bloomberg","summary":"(Bloomberg) -- Warren Buffett is signaling wariness with the soaring stock market as the billionaire","content":"
(Bloomberg) -- Warren Buffett is signaling wariness with the soaring stock market as the billionaire investor extends a selling streak.
\n
Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. was a net seller of equities for the fourth straight quarter, a trend not seen in data going back to 2008. The company ended up selling almost $2 billion more in stocks than it purchased during the period, adding to a cash pile that climbed to a record $149.2 billion.
\n
The selling streak indicates Buffett has struggled to find bargains with the stock market hitting all-time highs. A big, splashy acquisition also eluded the conglomerate, as the 91-year old and his investing deputies confronted a combination of sky-high price tags and fierce competition from the wave of special purpose acquisition companies.
\n
“The big issue here is that Berkshire was a net seller of stocks again this quarter,” Jim Shanahan, an analyst with Edward Jones, said in a telephone interview. “That’s the primary culprit” of the cash pile continuing to rise.
\n
Berkshire’s sales appear to have largely come from cutting holdings in banks, insurance and financial investments, according to its third-quarter regulatory filing released Saturday. Berkshire has been paring certain stocks in recent periods, spending the second quarter trimming its investment in General Motors Co. and pulling back on some of its pharmaceutical bets. The company is set to release its third-quarter stock tweaks later this month.
\n
While Buffett’s been a consistent net seller these past four quarters, those sales have been relatively small compared with the massive size of his stock portfolio. Over the past nine months, he’s sold almost $7 billion more of stocks than he’s bought, roughly 2.2% of the fair value of Berkshire’s stock portfolio at the end of September.
\n
Buffett warned investors in May that Berkshire might not have much luck striking deals as SPACs gripped the market -- though he also predicted the boom probably wouldn’t last. Compounding the challenge, his most recent big acquisition, the $37 billion deal for Precision Castparts five years ago, resulted in a writedown that Buffett laid squarely at his own door.
\n
Berkshire isn’t alone in extending a cash pile amid the pandemic. Amazon.com Inc., Google-parent Alphabet Inc. and American Airlines Group Inc. were among companies that amassed significant holdings during the health crisis in a step analysts have said would likely lead to some acquisitions.
\n
And the rising cash pile is better than the alternative in the eyes of investors including Cheviot Value Management’s Darren Pollock. The company ended up selling almost $2 billion more in stocks than it purchased during the period, adding to a cash pile that climbed to a record $149.2 billion.\nThe selling streak indicates Buffett has struggled to find bargains with the stock market hitting all-time highs. A big, splashy acquisition also eluded the conglomerate, as the 91-year old and his investing deputies confronted a combination of sky-high price tags and fierce competition from the wave of special purpose acquisition companies.\n“The big issue here is that Berkshire was a net seller of stocks again this quarter,” Jim Shanahan, an analyst with Edward Jones, said in a telephone interview. “That’s the primary culprit” of the cash pile continuing to rise.\nBerkshire’s sales appear to have largely come from cutting holdings in banks, insurance and financial investments, according to its third-quarter regulatory filing released Saturday. Berkshire has been paring certain stocks in recent periods, spending the second quarter trimming its investment in General Motors Co. and pulling back on some of its pharmaceutical bets. The company is set to release its third-quarter stock tweaks later this month.\nWhile Buffett’s been a consistent net seller these past four quarters, those sales have been relatively small compared with the massive size of his stock portfolio. Over the past nine months, he’s sold almost $7 billion more of stocks than he’s bought, roughly 2.2% of the fair value of Berkshire’s stock portfolio at the end of September.\nBuffett warned investors in May that Berkshire might not have much luck striking deals as SPACs gripped the market -- though he also predicted the boom probably wouldn’t last. Compounding the challenge, his most recent big acquisition, the $37 billion deal for Precision Castparts five years ago, resulted in a writedown that Buffett laid squarely at his own door.\nBerkshire isn’t alone in extending a cash pile amid the pandemic. Amazon.com Inc., Google-parent Alphabet Inc. and American Airlines Group Inc. were among companies that amassed significant holdings during the health crisis in a step analysts have said would likely lead to some acquisitions.\nAnd the rising cash pile is better than the alternative in the eyes of investors including Cheviot Value Management’s Darren Pollock. Even though Buffett’s cash pile still increased to a record despite the $7.6 billion of buybacks in the third quarter, Pollock says it’s a good sign about the health of Berkshire.\n“We’re happy with it because the alternative is that cash isn’t growing as much and that means that Berkshire’s operating companies aren’t of as high quality as we thought,” said Pollock, whose Cheviot owns shares in Berkshire. “To see that the cash is rising, to see that he’s deploying so much in one avenue which happens to be buybacks -- it’s not acquisitions -- but it’s being spent in a productive way, it’s so much better than the alternative of seeing that cash stabilize or decline without other large acquisitions.”\nHere are some other key takeaways from Berkshire’s third-quarter earnings on Saturday:\nBerkshire Appetite\nBuffett has increasingly leaned on share buybacks as one way to deploy billions of dollars. He’s spent about $51 billion on stock buybacks since a policy tweak in 2018, outpacing the $31 billion used to purchase shares of Apple Inc., Berkshire’s largest stock bet.\nIn the third quarter, Berkshire bought back $7.6 billion of stock, surpassing the $6 billion of shares repurchased in the previous period.\nBNSF’s Record\nRecord profit at Berkshire’s railroad, BNSF, and strong earnings from its energy businesses helped raise operating profit by 18% at the conglomerate during the third quarter.\nThat also aided in offsetting a painful quarter for Berkshire’s insurers. Those businesses reported an underwriting loss that widened to $784 million amid heightened catastrophe costs and worsening claims trends at auto insurer Geico.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":210,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":874214829,"gmtCreate":1637791736571,"gmtModify":1637791736571,"author":{"id":"3575511822003150","authorId":"3575511822003150","name":"CT131605","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e7dc91053dde2a04c818db545bbb9ae7","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575511822003150","authorIdStr":"3575511822003150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Up!","listText":"Up!","text":"Up!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":8,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/874214829","repostId":"2185517963","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":494,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":846314691,"gmtCreate":1636050552318,"gmtModify":1636050552318,"author":{"id":"3575511822003150","authorId":"3575511822003150","name":"CT131605","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e7dc91053dde2a04c818db545bbb9ae7","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575511822003150","authorIdStr":"3575511822003150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Awesome","listText":"Awesome","text":"Awesome","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":8,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/846314691","repostId":"1171402677","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1171402677","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1636035531,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1171402677?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-11-04 22:18","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Semiconductor stocks surged in morning trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1171402677","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Semiconductor stocks surged in morning trading.Qualcomm,Nvidia,GlobalFoundries,AMD,ASML and Micron climbed between 1% and 13%.","content":"
Semiconductor stocks surged in morning trading.Qualcomm,Nvidia,GlobalFoundries,AMD,ASML and Micron climbed between 1% and 13%.
\n

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; That compares with a valuation of $27.6 billion after a $2.65 billion funding round in January, Bloomberg News previously reported.\nBacked by deep pocketed companies such as Amazon.com Inc. and Ford Motor Co., Rivian is making its debut as it looks to make a dent in the electric vehicle market led by Tesla Inc.\nJust a couple of months ago, Rivian delivered its first vehicles, mostly to its own employees. It will only produce about 1,200 units by year-end at its plant in Normal, Illinois. The company, which lost nearly $1 billion in the first half of the year, estimates that annual production will hit 150,000 vehicles at its main facility by late 2023.\nRivian had earlier marketed 135 million shares at $72 to $74 after elevating that range from $57 to $62, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The stock will trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol RIVN.\nBig Backers\nThough it’s a newcomer to the public market, Rivian’s entry into the world of consumer electric vehicles has been more than a decade in the making.\nFounder and Chief Executive Officer R.J. Scaringe set up the first iteration of what would become Rivian in 2009 in his home state of Florida.\nOver the years, it attracted a wide array of backers. As much as $5 billion of the IPO shares are set to be bought by investors including Amazon, T. Rowe Price, Coatue Management, Franklin Templeton, Capital Research Global Investors, D1 Capital, Third Point Investors, Blackstone Inc., Dragoneer Investment Group and Soros Funds.\nRivian had a net loss of $994 million in the first six months of 2021, compared with a $377 million deficit a year earlier, according to its filings. Rivian expected to record a quarterly net loss of as much as $1.28 billion due to costs associated with the start of production of the R1T.\nRivian plans to allocate up to 7% of its shares to eligible U.S. customers who had pre-orders as of Sept. 30. To attract retail investors, up to 0.4% of the IPO shares will be allocated to SoFi Securities LLC’s online brokerage platform.\nScaringe is expected to maintain outsize influence over Rivian through a class of stock giving him 10 votes per share, compared with one vote each for the shares sold in the IPO.\nThe offering is being led by Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co., with more than 20 banks listed on the cover page of its prospectus.\nRivian Automotive Inc plans to be building at least one million vehicles annually by the end of the decade, its chief executive said on Tuesday, as it sets its sights on market leader Tesla Inc.\nRivian CEO R.J. Scaringe said the company's push for a larger global footprint would be supported by four assembly plants around the world.\n\"We better be growing at least that quick; certainly before the end of the decade is how we think about it,\" Scaringe said in an interview ahead of Rivian's market debut on the Nasdaq on Wednesday.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":178,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":699182362,"gmtCreate":1639756049397,"gmtModify":1639756049545,"author":{"id":"3575511822003150","authorId":"3575511822003150","name":"CT131605","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e7dc91053dde2a04c818db545bbb9ae7","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575511822003150","authorIdStr":"3575511822003150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yes","listText":"Yes","text":"Yes","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/699182362","repostId":"2192497854","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1495,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":608753803,"gmtCreate":1638794080741,"gmtModify":1638794252447,"author":{"id":"3575511822003150","authorId":"3575511822003150","name":"CT131605","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e7dc91053dde2a04c818db545bbb9ae7","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575511822003150","authorIdStr":"3575511822003150"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/608753803","repostId":"1185669441","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1185669441","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1638781397,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1185669441?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-06 17:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Alibaba stock rallied nearly 2% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1185669441","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Alibaba stock rallied nearly 2% in premarket trading afer the company overhauled e-commerce businesses and named new CFO.Alibaba Group Holding Ltdsaid it will reorganise its international and domestic e-commerce businesses and replace its CFO.It will form two new units - international digital commerce and China digital commerce which it said was part of efforts to become more agile and accelerate growth. The international digital commerce unit will include AliExpress which sells to retail buyers ","content":"
Alibaba stock rallied nearly 2% in premarket trading afer the company overhauled e-commerce businesses and named new CFO.
\n

\n
Alibaba Group Holding Ltd(9988.HK)said it will reorganise its international and domestic e-commerce businesses and replace its CFO.
\n
It will form two new units - international digital commerce and China digital commerce which it said was part of efforts to become more agile and accelerate growth.
\n
The international digital commerce unit will include AliExpress which sells to retail buyers particularly in Europe and South America, its Southeast Asian e-commerce business Lazada and Alibaba.com which is more focused on selling to overseas business customers.
\n
It will be headed by Jiang Fan, who had been in charge of its main Chinese retail marketplaces, and the change is seen in line with Alibaba's aim to make 'globalisation' a key focus area in addition to cloud computing and domestic consumer spending.
\n
The China digital commerce unit will include Alibaba's two main marketplaces, Tmall for established brands and Taobao which welcomes all kinds of merchants. opportunities.
\n
First off, the stock market isn't technically in a correction. Not yet, anyway.
Invest accordingly.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
2 Growth Stocks Down Over 50% That Look Like Amazing Bargains
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n2 Growth Stocks Down Over 50% That Look Like Amazing Bargains\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-12-03 11:19 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Many growth stocks are down sharply, and these two look like great opportunities.\nFirst off, the stock market isn't technically in a correction.
