(NASDAQ: EBAY), SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:","content":"
EBay Inc (NASDAQ: EBAY), SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: REGN) and Tupperware Brands Corporation (NYSE: TUP) are four stocks considered technically undervalued this month.
\n
Investors may seek out undervalued stocks to invest in for the long term, hoping the market eventually realizes the stock is trading lower than its actual value and makes an upward correction.
\n
How A Stock Is Deemed Undervalued: A stock is considered undervalued based on its price-to-earnings ratio (P/E).
\n
A stock's P/E is found by dividing the stock’s current share price by its earnings per share (EPS) over the past 12 months.
\n
A high P/E indicates the stock is trading above its value and could therefore be overvalued, while a low P/E means it is trading below its value and could therefore be overvalued.
\n
As an example, if a stock is trading at $40 and has an EPS of $4, it has a P/E ratio of 10, meaning that for every share investors purchase, they claim $10 in earnings. This is considered a low P/E and could indicate the stock is undervalued.
\n
Conversely, if a stock is trading at $40 per share and has an EPS of $1, it has a P/E ratio of 40 meaning that for every share investors purchase they claim only $1 in earnings. This is considered a high P/E and could indicate the stock is overvalued.
\n
Four Stocks That May Be Undervalued: EBay, a San Jose-based multinational e-commerce company, has a 12-month EPS of $7.89 ended Friday's trading at $62.47, giving it a P/E of 7.92. This may indicate it is undervalued.
\n
When eBay reported fourth-quarter earnings on Feb. 3, its revenue was up 28% to $2.9 billion, showing it may be going through a period of high growth.
\n
SunPower, a San Jose-based solar energy company, has a 12-month EPS of $2.48 and ended Friday's trading at $29.71, giving it a P/E ratio of 11.99. This may indicate it is undervalued.
\n
When SunPower reported fourth-quarter earnings on Feb. 17, the company said it had added 13,000 new customers. With the push for renewable energy, this may continue to grow, bringing the company increasing revenue.
\n
Regeneron, the Westchester County-based biotechnology company, has a 12-month EPS of $30.52 and ended Friday's trading at $475.17, giving it a P/E ratio of 15.57. This may indicate it is undervalued.
\n
When Regeneron reported its fourth-quarter results on Feb. 5 it had increased revenues by 30% compared to fourth-quarter 2019, showing sustained growth.
\n
Tupperware, an Orlando-based multi-level marketing company with an extensive home product line, has a 12-month EPS of $2.14 and ended Friday's trading at $27.02, giving it a P/E ratio of 12.63. This may indicate it is undervalued.
\n
When Tupperware released its fourth-quarter results on March 10, it said its global sales were up 17%, 20% in local currency, compared to the year prior.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
4 Undervalued Stocks To Watch For In April
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n4 Undervalued Stocks To Watch For In April\n
\n\n
\n\n\n<div class=\"head\" \">\n\n\n

\n\n
\n
Benzinga
\n
2021-04-12 09:54
\n
\n\n
\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
This week we are doing a deeper dive into industrial automation, which was already seeing an acceleration pre-pandemic. The pandemic provided further powerful tailwinds as human interaction became riskier and supply chains were brutally disrupted. The new US presidential administration is likely to push for higher wages, which only adds further momentum to this trend.
\n
The pandemic forced many factories to either close or materially reduce their output, which caused industrial production to drop to a level not seen in over ten years and a profound loss of jobs that have still not yet been recovered. As the lockdowns eased, companies had to find ways to make their production lines safe, which meant fewer people on-site and increased the need for automation to allow for greater production levels at a lower level of labor.
\n
The 2021 BDO Manufacturing CFO Outlook Survey, conducted in September 2020, provides some fantastic insight into how things are changing for those manufacturing companies with revenues ranging from $250 million to $3 billion and how the pandemic has affected them. According to the report, “Prior to the pandemic, the Industry 4.0 paradigm shift was already underway, bringing together the physical and digital worlds to change the fundamentals of production. COVID-19 has accelerated the paradigm, compressing the timeframe for the industry to get on board.” The top CFO priority for 2021 is “Investing in Technology or Infrastructure.” The most critical factor for recovery, according to middle-market manufacturers, is “Supply Chain Stability” followed by “Productivity Gains” and when it comes to evolving their workforce strategy in the coming year, the second-highest priority (after diversity and inclusion as a business strategy) is automating manual labor.
\n
According to the recent research report, “Industrial Automation Market by Component (Plant-level Controls, Enterprise-level Controls, Plant Instrumentation), Mode of Automation (Semi-automatic, Fully-automatic), and End User (Oil & Gas, Automotive, Food & Beverage) - Global Forecast to 2027”, the industrial automation market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 9.3% from 2020 to 2027, growing from $164.2 billion to $306.2 billion by 2027.
\n
Industrial automation is in the midst of a game-changing transformation. Advancements such as machine learning, augmented reality, cyber-physical systems, autonomous assets, real-time analytics, and the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) promise extraordinary operational achievements. In addition, we are seeing similar pressures here against closed systems that we saw in corporate automation (which we will cover in the weeks to come). In much the way that consumers of office software and automation systems pushed for solutions being more easily integrated with other products and less fussy (technical term) about the platforms on which they operate, we are seeing similar demands for industrial automation solutions. This bodes well for more flexible and more rapidly improving solutions.
\n
Closed systems are expensive to upgrade and maintain, limit innovation and restrict access to best-of-breed technologies. Just as we’ve seen in the office, industrial enterprises are increasingly demanding open, standards-based automation systems that are portable, interoperable, and intrinsically cyber secure. As we look towards the future, we see digital-first industrial enterprises and smart factories using universal automation that will significantly increase efficiency, reliability, and productivity from safe and secure (often remote) operations that easily adapt to market changes and customer demands. In short, industrial operations of the future will be data-driven, asset-centric architectures leveraging human innovation rather than relying on a workforce engaged in endless repetitive tasks. We also expect to see accelerated adoption of edge computing along with 5G and WiFi 6. After experiencing first-hand the vulnerabilities of their operations during lockdowns, we expect to see a push to implement systems that will allow for maintenance and upgrades to be conducted remotely and/or via automation.
\n
What does this mean for investors?
\n
First, much of this automation is going to be dependent on expanded data networks such as 5G and WiFi 6, which means further demand for products from companies providing the underlying digital infrastructure technologies such as Maxlinear (MXL), Skyworks Solutions Inc (SWKS), Applied Optoelectronics Inc (AAOI),and Broadcom (AVGO).
\n
Companies providing factory automation products include Fanuc (FANUY),Danaher Corporation (DHR), Siemens AG (SIEGY), Yaskawa Electric Corp (YASKF), Emerson Electric Co (EMR),Honeywell (HON),Rockwell Automation Inc (ROK),and Eaton Corp (ETN).
\n
Finally, let us not forget that many manufacturers are turning to 3D printing, which bodes well for companies such as The ExOne Co (XONE), Markforged - which has announced plans to go public via a merger with publicly trade SPAC One (AONE),Stratasys Ltd (SSYS), and Materialise NV (MTLS).
\n
Disclosures
\n
Maxlinear (MXL), Skyworks Solutions Inc (SWKS), Applied Optoelectronics Inc (AAOI),and Broadcom (AVGO) are constituents in the Tematica BITA Digital Infrastructure and Connectivity Index.
","source":"lsy1603171495471","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Accelerating Industrial Automation and the Companies to Watch
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nAccelerating Industrial Automation and the Companies to Watch\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-03-15 16:46 GMT+8 nasdaq\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Last week we kicked off our automation series with an overview of the various sectors of the economy that are ramping up their automation levels. After experiencing first-hand the vulnerabilities of their operations during lockdowns, we expect to see a push to implement systems that will allow for maintenance and upgrades to be conducted remotely and/or via automation.\nWhat does this mean for investors?\nFirst, much of this automation is going to be dependent on expanded data networks such as 5G and WiFi 6, which means further demand for products from companies providing the underlying digital infrastructure technologies such as Maxlinear (MXL), Skyworks Solutions Inc (SWKS), Applied Optoelectronics Inc (AAOI),and Broadcom (AVGO).\nCompanies providing factory automation products include Fanuc (FANUY),Danaher Corporation (DHR), Siemens AG (SIEGY), Yaskawa Electric Corp (YASKF), Emerson Electric Co (EMR),Honeywell (HON),Rockwell Automation Inc (ROK),and Eaton Corp (ETN).\nFinally, let us not forget that many manufacturers are turning to 3D printing, which bodes well for companies such as The ExOne Co (XONE), Markforged - which has announced plans to go public via a merger with publicly trade SPAC One (AONE),Stratasys Ltd (SSYS), and Materialise NV (MTLS).\nDisclosures\nMaxlinear (MXL), Skyworks Solutions Inc (SWKS), Applied Optoelectronics Inc (AAOI),and Broadcom (AVGO) are constituents in the Tematica BITA Digital Infrastructure and Connectivity Index.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":421,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":326891333,"gmtCreate":1615609134622,"gmtModify":1703491596909,"author":{"id":"3559908560522877","authorId":"3559908560522877","name":"Soni2020","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2b6bdb58e344743a6aced4d7e72b30f1","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3559908560522877","authorIdStr":"3559908560522877"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nooooo......","listText":"Nooooo......","text":"Nooooo......","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/326891333","repostId":"1104628946","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1104628946","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1615561247,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1104628946?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-03-12 23:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Marijuana stocks fall","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1104628946","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Tilray Inc down 6%,Aphria,Canopy,Aurora,Sundial Growers and Cronos down 3%.","content":"
Tilray Inc down 6%,Aphria,Canopy,Aurora,Sundial Growers and Cronos down 3%.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html;
