Investors who missed investing in Tesla two years back could be disheartened. Yet it is worth noting that it is difficult to foresee stocks that can generate Tesla-like returns. The best approach is to invest in companies that you believe can perform well in the long haul. Stocks of such quality companies should generate market-beating returns if you hold them long enough.
\n
Let's look at three electric vehicle (EV) stocks that have the potential to generate outsize returns in five years, or more.
\n
Lucid Group
\n
There is a plethora of electric vehicle stocks to choose from right now. Of these,Lucid Group(NASDAQ:LCID) looks promising. There are several reasons to like Lucid Group. Users like the cars' features and designs, and within a short time, Lucid has succeeded in establishing itself as a luxury electric car brand.
\n
The company not only boasts leading-edge EV technology, but also has solid growth plans. Though Lucid started as a luxury car maker, it has plans to launch EV models for the mass market in the coming years. With one of the most efficient EV technologies, Lucid can potentially generate recurring revenue by licensing its technology to other car companies. The stock will be included in the Nasdaq-100 index on Dec. 20.
\n
On the risk side, Lucid is still to prove that it can deliver cars profitably. This $20 billion expansion will bring our total investment in Arizona to more than $50 billion since opening the site over 40 years ago.\n\"As the only U.S.-based leading-edge chipmaker, we are committed to building on this long-term investment and helping the United States regain semiconductor leadership,” Gelsinger said.\nShares of Intel on Friday traded 0.18% higher to $54.32 after hours.\nGelsinger on Thursday participated in a virtual meeting with tech company executives and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo to address the global semiconductor chip shortage, which has interfered with production in the high-tech, electronics and automotive industries.\nThe two new factories, to be named Fab 52 and Fab 62, will house a total of six semiconductor fabs. The project will create over 3,000 high-tech, high-wage Intel jobs, 3,000 construction jobs and support an estimated 15,000 additional indirect jobs in the local community.\nIntel rival Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.plans to buildits second U.S. chip factory also in Arizona and targets production to begin in 2024.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1353,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":861654379,"gmtCreate":1632493796591,"gmtModify":1632716878997,"author":{"id":"3577853138256044","authorId":"3577853138256044","name":"AlvisChung","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/6a0935cb5351b342a4ad73d73fb14a3f","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3577853138256044","authorIdStr":"3577853138256044"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$ 11. 60.
